Our thoughts on Movies!

Presence might have one of the coolest concepts I’ve seen in a horror movie this year. Unfortunately, it’s also one of the most underwhelming.

Nonnas is a great movie, with emotional depth and a fantastic cast. The movie is heartwarming, and one of Netflix’s better dramas.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a fun second movie, albeit not as great as the first one. Sony still struggles to make a hero movie that makes sense, but this is a fun watch regardless.

Inglourious Basterds is one of my all time favourite movies, and one I could watch 100 times over. The review will give you detailed thoughts, but just go watch this movie.

Citizen Kane is a classic, holding up against the test of time. It’s a bit boring for my liking, but the movie is still really good.

Requiem for a Dream falls into a category of movies that are amazing but hard to watch. It’s not something you flip mid-afternoon, but Requiem is a great movie.

Tetris is a joy to watch, bringing a beloved game to the big screen. Taron Egerton is a gem, and the story is deeper than I had imagined.

Knives Out is an incredibly fun murder-mystery. Rain Johnson has crafted a narrative that feels like a classic already. Daniel Craig is brilliant, and Knives Out is a must watch.

Mufasa: The Lion King is a return to my favourite Disney era, and it’s a joy to watch.
