Requiem for a Dream Review: Startling and Dark
Requiem for a Dream falls into a category of movies that are amazing but hard to watch. It’s not something you flip mid-afternoon, but Requiem is a great movie.
Our thoughts on Movies!
Requiem for a Dream falls into a category of movies that are amazing but hard to watch. It’s not something you flip mid-afternoon, but Requiem is a great movie.
Tetris is a joy to watch, bringing a beloved game to the big screen. Taron Egerton is a gem, and the story is deeper than I had imagined.
Knives Out is an incredibly fun murder-mystery. Rain Johnson has crafted a narrative that feels like a classic already. Daniel Craig is brilliant, and Knives Out is a must watch.
Mufasa: The Lion King is a return to my favourite Disney era, and it’s a joy to watch.
Carry-On is a great movie that brings a Christmas nightmare to life. Egerton and Bateman are fantastic, making this a Netflix movie you don’t want to miss.
I have seen Moana 2 get a lot of hate and I’m not getting it. The songs aren’t quite as good but they are still hummable. The story is really interesting and engaging. I liked what they did with Moana’s character and I felt in some ways it was bigger scale!
Nutcrackers is another movie that brings an interesting idea to the table but fails to reach for the stars. It’s awesome to seen Ben Stiller in another leading role.
Moana is a fantastic film. It makes me long for the ocean, makes me want to sing and reminds me of all the reasons I love animated films
This film deserves to be remembered alongside the greats of Disney’s animation history. It’s a movie that highlights the value of hard work, the importance of following your dreams, and the beauty of perseverance.
