The Dawn of Yangchen is the 3rd book by F.C. Yee in the Avatar: The Last Airbender world. With a focus on spying and information management, this novel follows Yangchen and her companions on solving the mystery behind Project Unanimity before it brings unbalance to the Four Nations.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation was an absolutely crazy journey. With 25 volumes in the light novel, 1 fully animated season and a second half of season 2 to be animated, it is an amazing journey anyone who loves the fantasy genre to indulge. Although there are some darker themes, the overall world building and characters are next level.
After hearing about this series and being recommended by a friend, Solo Leveling was an amazing experience from start to finish. If you enjoy series with an overpowered protagonist, great fight scenes, memorable characters, and a solid storyline, then this is the series for you.
There are no conclusion, nothing gets resolved, and I’m left with more questions than answers. We actually get introduced to more things as the episode comes to a close, which is usually fine and dandy as a cliff-hanger for the next season, but it just doesn’t work when you don’t finish anything in your final episode.
Episode 7 drops the ball in more ways than one. Instead of an exciting, dramatic lead-up to the finale, we get a boring, disconnected deep dive into Lillian’s character that should have been left on the cutting room floor.
It’s not bad by any means, but episode 6 was the worst episode so far. The acting was really solid, and the story was interesting, but it felt lacking. The amount of content in this episode felt short compared to the other episodes, and the entire episode left me wanting more, not just the cliffhanger ending.
Our actors are doing great, the story is really picking up, and the world-building has been great so far. I don’t know where our story is headed, but I am really enjoying the path we are on right now. Look for this show to get weirder as we go, and probably darker.
Episode 4 is slightly shorter than the previous 2 episodes, and it feels that way. The episode doesn’t have as much going on as the last two, and it moves slightly slower.
Episode 3 doesn’t have the same quick pacing as episode 2, but it’s still jam-packed with intrigue. The 55 minutes feel longer than that, and a lot happens throughout the episode. The middle does get slow, nearing boredom, but the beginning and the end make up for it. LaKeith Stanfield puts on his best perfomance yet, and the cliff hanger ending has me exicted for more.
