The Crowded Room Episode 4 Review

The Crowded Room Episode 4: London -9.5/10
This episode has moved across the pond as we follow Danny in the immediate aftermath of what happened at Rockefeller Centre. Having been rushed out by Yitzhak, Danny hopped on a plane to find his father somewhere in London. Upon arriving in London, Danny is able to track down a location that is supposed to be connected to his father. He is introduced to a man named Jack (Jason Isaacs), who claims to have worked with Danny’s father.
Jack takes Danny to a bar where he tells Danny that not only did Jack work with Danny’s father Pete but they both worked with Yitzhak. At this point, Rya stops the story to ask Danny if he expects her to believe this is all just a coincidence to which Danny admits he believed it to be at the time, but no longer believes it to be a part of a larger conspiracy. Danny is then told by Jack that his father is not in London and that it’s been years since his last contact with the man. Apparently, after a deal gone wrong Danny’s father decided to stay away from London for a while.
Danny is told stories about his father and Jack deduces that Danny is on the run and helps him find a room to stay in while he is in London. Danny then sees Jack having a conversation in a phone booth which we see is a conversation between Jack and Yitzhak discussing their cryptic plans for Danny.

The next day Jack points Danny in the direction of a man who has money for his father and says that all Danny has to do is ask for the money and he will be given it. He is thrown out of the club with no money and Jack tells Danny to return to America. Upon returning to the United States and Yitzhak’s house, Danny finds the house empty with no sign of either Yitzhak or Ariana. The episode ends with Rya looking over Danny’s drawings and seeing one of Jack and finally, at the very end we see Jack in the police interview room.
I thought this was a fantastic episode, and it was very intriguing with many plot points and elements that I am curious about where they will go. The questions about Danny’s father and his connections to Yitzhak and Jack are still wide open. Where are Yitzhak and Ariana? How was Danny able to return to the house without being arrested I know it’s the 70s but still. Every answer has a new question that it asks and I have no idea where the story will go but I am waiting to find out. This is exactly what I want from a thriller to build suspense and to make me think of possibilities.
