The Yard was a really good book that seemingly fits all the things I enjoy in a novel and story in general. With a great mystery, solid thrills, excellent location, and compelling characters I am happy to report that this book was captivating the whole time!
Heart of the Sun Warrior is the stunning conclusion to the Celestial Kingdom duology written by Sue Lynn Tan. With an intriguing plot, interesting characters, and a fun read, this is a book to read after finishing the first novel in this duology.
Shadow of a Doubt is a thrilling read, and while the book starts out slow, I couldn’t put it down after about 200 pages.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is the 4th Harry Potter book and is easily one of the best. With darker themes being developed in this novel as well as being the most action-packed book in the series we see the development of this series and these characters as they enter their teenage years. A threat looms over this novel and a dangerous plot that will affect the Wizarding World forever.
The Paris Apartment is a mystery novel centered in a Paris apartment. With a huge cast of characters, you’ll keep guessing what’s coming next.
Daughter of the Moon Goddess was a fun read to combine mythology, action, and romance. If you enjoyed Percy Jackson, then you’ll enjoy this more mature take on the same genre.
The Matchmaker: A Spy in Berlin is a fun read for a crime and mystery novel. From fun characters, to an interesting plot, it has everything and more you could ask for.
Marion Lane and the Deadly Rose is an upcoming book that we thought was a fantastic read. With an engaging mystery that keeps you on the edge of your seat and compelling characters we thought this was a great sequel!
Daughter of the Deep, is Rick Riordan’s latest novel and it is one that we thoroughly enjoyed. With some excellent worldbuiliding, engaging characters and a captivating story, this is certainly a book to add to your list.
Diary of A Wimpy Kid: The Deep End is a book that we were mixed on as a group. We thought that if you had a nostalgic connection to the series you would probably enjoy it but otherwise the book doesn’t have tons to offer without a strong plot or characters.
