Platonic Episode 2 Review
Episode 2 picks up where episode 1 left off, although there is a lot less focus on the bar. The episode is really funny, and a great watch. Seth Rogan and Rose Byrne continue to put on a show.
Platonic Episode 1 Review
Platonic is great, the show is both funny and oh so awkward, and it works well for Seth Rogen. Although we are only 1 episode in, Platonic is a great show in the making.
Digman! Episode 5 Review
Digman! seems to get better every week, and episode 5 is no different. Samberg has created a show that started annoying, but has really grown on me and one I look forward to watching. The humour is dumb, and the plot isn’t all that deep, but it’s entertaining. As our characters flesh out, the show continues to improve, and I really enjoyed this week’s episode.
The Big Door Prize: Episode 6 Review
Episode 6 starts the back half of the show, and it starts it with a bang. Beau, played by Aaron Roman Weiner, is our focus this week, picking up directly after the end of Episode 5. Beau is unable to process the loss of his son, paired with his regrets about being a poor father, and it pushes him to the edge.
The Big Door Prize: Episode 5 Review
We have reached the mid-way point of Season 1 for the The Big Door Prize, and the over-arching story is still pretty murky. The show has been decent so far, not at the top of my list for Apple TV+ shows, but nothing unwatchable. Episode 5 provides more of the same, but it gets slightly better at covering more ground throughout the episode.
This is the Way: The Mandalorian Season 3 Review
I have loved Mando and Grogu’s adventures since the very first episode of season 1. The Mandalorian has been my favourite of the Star Wars shows and one of the most consistently great shows on Disney+. While Star Wars would come in third among my favourite franchises it is still one of my favourites and I care deeply about the story and galaxy created by George Lucas all those years ago. Having said that, after taking some time to reflect on this season I have many thoughts both positive and negative.
Digman! Episode 4 Review
Episode 4 is an awesome watch, and my favourite episode so far. This is more what I was expecting from this show. The characters come together, and the plot of the episode is really interesting. It’s our least ‘archy’ episode yet, but it’s super entertaining.
Digman! Episode 3 Review
The Fear of GAWD follows Digman and Saltine as they set out to find the Ten Commandments. Our characters meet a new mythological species as well as try to handle to seems of society coming undone. It makes for an interesting episode with some funny jokes.

Episode 4 highlights one of my favourite characters so far, and adds some emotional moments to The Big Door Prize.

The Big Door Prize continues to build a solid cast of characters, but it feels like we are accomplishing less each episode.
