Our thoughts on Movies!
Now, whether this movie is worth a watch or not, I would definitely say yes. Long time readers will know that we’ve covered other movies based on a true story, like Penguin Bloom. Now, that movie wasn’t as entertaining, but I can assure you that Thirteen Lives isn’t slow or boring like that one. On the contrary, the story is quite intriguing, and the two-and-a-half-hour runtime passes by pretty quickly.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring is 100% worth a watch. From the plot, to the characters, to setting, everything melds together magically to weave an amazing tale. Even for a movie that was released over 20 years ago, its effects and story still hold up today.
Wedding Season is a really solid movie with good characters. I really enjoyed the dynamics between our characters and the direction the plot took. The see through plot does take away from some of the intrigue, but if you are coming to a Rom-Com for intrigue, you are in the wrong place. Overall, an enjoyable movie and much better than I expected.
Nope is worth watching, from the characters to the plot. It’s a decently paced movie that doesn’t waste a ton of time. The combination of comedy and horror worked really well for me, and I didn’t miss the jump scares what so ever. The visuals are beautiful and our actors did a really good job.
Now, the first question on your mind is probably, “Is Don’t Make Me Go worth a watch?”. And to that, I would say yes. Now, this isn’t some kind of game changer movie or anything like that, however, it was still an enjoyable watch. Since this movie is more character driven, the actors did a fantastic job in this movie. If you are into more of the emotional and character driven drams, then give this a shot.
Thor Love and Thunder is the latest MCU film and this is a blast for fans of Thor Ragnarok as we get to see Thor travel the galaxy and another sprawling and hilarious adventure. This is definitely a crowd pleasure starring your favourite Asgardian.
Minions: The Rise of Gru was a really solid movie that was both funny and captivating. The mix of jokes and story flowed perfectly in the hour and 27 minutes.
Overall, The Man from Toronto is decent. It’s funny, got some good action, and some good acting. I enjoyed it and think The Man from Toronto is worth a watch.
Spiderhead is one of Netflix’s better movies to date. The large question behind the movie is more complex than meets the eye, and the writers do a wonderful job of putting you in the characters shoes. Film is and always will be about conjuring thoughts and captivating an audience, something Spiderhead does quite well.
