Uncharted, based on the popular video game franchise, is a film that we really enjoyed. With a fun adventure-style story, cool action scenes, and a good leading man in Tom Holland, this was one we definitely recommend.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a film that we quite enjoyed. With lots of cool action and great character interactions we thought this was a good time. However, we also thought a longer film with a deeper plot would have been more detailed and a better film.
Kate is a pretty good movie with some solid action. The ticking clock is a lot of fun, but it does get confusing at times.
Catching Fire was a solid follow up to the first movie. From cool arenas to amazing fight scenes, there was a lot we loved about this movie.
Overall, Cars 2 is a fun movie to watch. The spy idea was risky, but I thought it paid off. With a deeper focus on Mater , I would have loved to see this marketed as a spinoff, but that doesn’t take anything away from the movie itself. 10 years later this is still a solid movie.
As you can see by the rating, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is probably one of my favourite shows I have ever watched. Besides a slower beginning to get accustomed to the characters, the rest of the show was beautiful and captivating. There were some great themes, clashes of ideals, and stunning animation. I especially loved the small differences between all the breathing styles and fighting techniques.
Even with the rushed ending, I thought this was a really good movie. The plot is pretty interesting, and the futuristic sci-fi technology is super cool. If you are looking for a solid one-off movie, this is it!
Overall, The Empire Strikes Back was another solid movie that I enjoyed more than the first. The pacing was better, and I enjoyed the plot of this movie more. As usual, the characters were on point, and the music was incredible. If you have any doubts about continuing the series after the first movie, I recommend to keep watching.
If I were to describe Star Wars: A New Hope in one word it would be iconic. The movie is incredible and I recommend everyone go check it out.
