Against the Ice is a captivating, based-on-a-true story movie that manages to pack more into 1:42 than most Netflix movies do in 2 hours. The scenery is beautiful, but the filmmakers don’t forget to display the brutally of the Arctic Circle
Tall Girl 2 is a sequel to Netflix’s hit film that we overall did not enjoy. With annoying characters and a bland plot this is not a film we will remember fondly.
Brazen is Netflix’s newest film and it is a film that overall we thought was alright. We found that the story was predictable but the characters were fine. However this is not a film we will necessarily remember in a year.
The Starling is a drama revolving around a couple who lost their young daughter and how they react. As reviewers we did all think though the pacing and execution was a bit slow and rough at times but the characters and the emotional moments worked for the most part.
Kate is a pretty good movie with some solid action. The ticking clock is a lot of fun, but it does get confusing at times.
Fear Street: 1978 is a pretty good movie, depending on why you are watching. As a connecting movie, it’s just okay but nothing spectacular. As a stand-alone, camp killer movie, it’s pretty darn good.
Army of the Dead has a lot going for it. It has an interesting plot, a great cast of characters, wonderful cinematography, and plenty of gore.
The Hangover Part II is a really funny movie that follows in the footsteps of the first. It has some great moments, some great characters, but a thin plot at times. Definitely an enjoyable watch, but be wary if you didn’t like the first one.
